MOTORIOT’
It started with a road trip, a truck, another, and a story that wouldn’t let go.
In 2022, my friend Jason and I started MOTORIOT. What began with chasing down vintage 4x4s across backroads and border towns has become a full operation with teams in Madrid, Spain; Pereira, Colombia; and Kent, Connecticut. We source, build, and restore classic trucks—mostly old Land Rovers—for clients across the U.S.
Each vehicle starts somewhere different. A mountain road in the Pyrenees. A forgotten farm in the Colombian coffee region. A dusty garage in New England. Wherever they come from, we bring them back with care—and upgrade them with the kind of performance that makes them a joy to actually drive.
Since launching, we’ve grown into creative projects and a small gear line, but the focus remains the same: find something real. Build it right. And let the story keep going.
I, Arcana
I set off to design and build a tiny home hidden in a forgotten New York City back alley — a place where most people would never think to look. Over the next year, I worked closely with builder John Gallina and architect Hank Scollard to bring this tucked-away vision to life.
The result was something rare: a secret home woven into the fabric of the city, both hidden and in plain sight. YouTube personality Cash Jordan stopped by to document it.
The Alderman
In March 2020, three days before the COVID quarantine started, I moved into a dilapidated 19th-century townhome in Brooklyn. The next five months were spent renovating, building out, and furnishing the home with my friends Tre and Zach at Portmanteau NYC. The end goal was to turn one of the units into a short-term rental geared towards creative types and the other into my primary residence.
The Drums
After graduating from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU with a degree in Film/TV, I jumped ship from film production. I drove straight into the music touring industry, spending the next few years going around the world playing guitar for indie pop sweethearts The Drums. Shortly following this adventure, I spent the next 1.5 years after that living out of a twin bunk bed on a bus as I acted as the tour manager for comedy legend the late Ralphie May. Today, I jump on tour playing guitar and bass and as a tour manager.
